Venue for the PGA Ulster Championship in 1996, 1997 and 1998 with top professionals, Damian Mooney and Jimmy Hegarty prevailing.

The Course

Castle Hume Golf Centre is situated within the grounds of old Ely estate on the edges of Castle Hume Lough Erne. It is one of the most scenic parklands areas in county Fermanagh's lovely lakeland. A championship golf course situated 3.5 miles out of the town of Enniskillen on the main Enniskillen - Belleek road, it it is one of county Fermanagh's main tourist attractions and is one of the most testing golf courses of Ireland.

Castle Hume is also manicured to the highest standard. It sports over seven thousand trees and over thirty bunkers. The course is built on well drained linestone land and is a model of golfing elegance.
Whether you are a serious golfer or a hacker you will not fail to be impressed by the sense of well being that castle Hume will give you. It is a challenge to play and a pleasure just to walk around.

Castle Hume Golf Course has been constructed to championship standards. It is a total of 6,900 yards in length from the championship tees and has a par of 72.
The standard scratch score from the championship tees is 71.
The course is famed for its large curvaceous greens, its rolling fairways, Its natural watercourse and its challenging water hazards.

  • Tarmac roadway adjoining 4th, 5th & 6th fairways
  • Tarmac roadway from drain to clubhouse entrance adjoining 18th fairway
  • Right of white markers at 11th, 14th, & 17th
  • Left of white markers at 15th & 16th
  • Beyond white markers at rear of 10th green
  • The practice area, putting green and carpark

Water Hazards:
All ponds and drains marked by yellow posts

Lateral Water Hazards:
All ponds and drains marked by red posts Dropping zone for 15th

Immovable Obstructions:
All bridges, paths, tee marker, signs, staked trees, course furnishings, electric fence to right of 6th fairway and flowerbed at 2nd tee.

Ground under repair:
Tractor and machinery marks Blue staked areas Areas marked G.U.R.

Electric poles and wires:
