Castle Hume Golf Centre is situated within the
grounds of old Ely estate on the edges of Castle Hume Lough Erne.
It is one of the most scenic parklands areas in county Fermanagh's
lovely lakeland. A championship golf course situated 3.5 miles out
of the town of Enniskillen on the main Enniskillen - Belleek/Donegal road,
it it is one of county Fermanagh's main tourist attractions and
is one of the most testing golf courses of Ireland.
Castle Hume is also manicured to the highest standard.
It sports over seven thousand trees and over thirty bunkers. The
course is built on well drained limestone land and is a model of
golfing elegance.
Whether you are a serious golfer or a hacker you will not fail to
be impressed by the sense of well being that castle Hume will give
you. It is a challenge to play and a pleasure just to walk around.
Castle Hume Golf Course has been constructed to
championship standards. It is a total of 6,200 yards in length from
the championship tees and has a par of 70.
The standard scratch score from the championship tees is 69.
The course is famed for its large curvaceous greens, its rolling
fairways, Its natural watercourse and its challenging water hazards.
