Future plans include covering the
bays and floodlighting the range. This area is open to the public,
experienced and novice golfers alike.

snack menu all day every day with a choice of dishes to suit all tastes and
ages.
A la carte and dinner menu are available from 5.30pm each evening and these

Our Carvery lunch each Sunday is probably our most popular event.
The restaurant has panoramic views of the golf course and particularly the
testing 18th hole with its water hazards. The Restaurant has a unique service
for patrons who are collected and left home in our courtesy car within a six
mile radius. We also collect. This service is also available to holiday makers

Castle Hume has a spacious, modern Pro Shop stocked through
Golfworks, Ireland. All the leading manufacturers are stocked, including
Callaway, Ping, Taylor Made and Titleist.
The shop is managed by PGA professional Shaun Donnelly, who can
advise on custom fitting to the various individual's requirements.
Golfworks help provide great buying power and extensive range
through the backup of seven stores. Prices are as keen and competitive as anywhere
in the country.
Come and try out, on the driving range, the latest demo models and second-hand
clubs available.
The best way to start golf is to book a few lessons with a
PGA Pro to help build the foundations of good golf in the future. Too many people
start the game without proper instruction and form bad habits quickly.
The professional will also help in the understanding of the rules and the etiquette
in golf, as well as give equipment advice. A starter set of 3 woods, 9 irons,
a bag and a putter can be bought for under £200.00, and that is what is
needed to start the game properly .
Playing lessons where the pupil actually goes out on the course are very beneficial
to help the novice get accustomed to the surroundings of the course .The pupil
then gets an insight into all the areas of the game.
After a couple of lessons and playing lessons, the pupil should know if they
are going to enjoy the game of golf .
Probably the best known hole on any golf course is the 19th.
And here at Castle Hume, the Players' Bar is no exception. A state-of-the-art
bar overlooking the 18th hole, it is a must-see whilst visiting
Castle Hume.
While you relax over a cool pint, or a stiff gin
and tonic, you can sit in comfort in the bar or on the balcony to
cheer your companions on as they putt on the last green.
The Players' Bar stocks drinks from around the world. Sip on a Bombay
Gin, or why not try one of our exclusive cocktails.
We show all live sports within complete Surround Sound, so you don't
miss a thing when using the restroom facilities!
Our wine list has over 30 titles to choose from, and with our New
World wines you can't go wrong.
We also serve bar snacks all day every day - so eat, drink and be
merry at the Players' Bar.
