Location

Castle Hume golf course is situated within the grounds of the old Ely Estate, surrounded by Castle Hume lough and lower Lough Erne. The par 72 championship course, which is over 6,800 yards long, opened in 1992 and is just a few minutes drive from Enniskillen on the A 46 Enniskillen-Belleek Road. Other well known courses,Rosses point, Strandhill, Enniscrone, Bundorran, Murvagh and the Slieve Russell are within convenient driving distance.
Lough Erne is a majestic inland lake, measuring 50 miles in length. The serene and exotic navigatable labyrinth of water now joins the Shannon River.

Castle Hume, on the edge of lough Erne, is a gateway to an immensely rich legacy of stately homes, heritage centres, neoclassical mansions and castles, monastic sites, ruined churches and graveyard, surviving images of pagan rituals (Janus finger, Sheila na Gigs) and an endless list of enriching spectacles.

Castle Hume Championship Golf Course is situated on the beautiful shores of Lower Lough Erne, 3 and a half miles from Enniskillen on the Belleek Road and only half an hour from the shore and a number of excellent lynx courses.

The loughs, island and woodland scenery of the lake District of county Fermanagh is a most enchanting location. This glittering jewel of woodland and illustrious waters provides the setting and surroundings of Castle Hume Golf Course.
